Study What?

Study to shew thyself approved a workman… We need to stop right there and realize that every Christian is a workman. One who works. Not only prays but works. Not only believes but works. You see, it is works that will display your love or indifference toward God Almighty. It is love that people will know that we are Christ’s disciples.

But lo, we have those that love to study and as the Scripture shows we ought to do this unto God. My question to every minister of the Gospel is this: HOW HAS YOUR STUDYING HELPED CHANGE SOMEONE’s LIFE? HAS IT BROUGHT HEALING TO ANYONE’s BODY? HAS IT BROUGHT THE PRESENCE OF GOD ALMIGHTY INTO A TROUBLED SITUATION AND BROUGHT RESOLUTION? If not, my next question is WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING FOR? The bottom line is this brethren. If we don’t study to live the life that Jesus Christ has designed us to live (these signs shall follow them that believe) then we are studying in vain. Who cares what that word means in the Greek when we don’t live what God means in the Word. Of course I am not saying that studying is wrong. I am saying that aimless study is wrong! So when we go to our studies let’s ask ourselves why we are not seeing the signs, wonders, and miracles in our lives (not just ministries) and then let us study to show ourselves approved remembering how Jesus was approved! WITH SIGNS, WONDERS, AND MIRACLES!!!
