Co-laborers

Humility comes before honor. And they that abase themselves are exalted. Look at this! Isn’t that wonderful? To know that you don’t have to toot your own horn to get noticed. The Bible says the humble will receive honor and be exalted.

There was a preacher that was approached by a young man and was complimented because he preached an awesome message. To the compliment the preacher replied: it was all God. Really? Didn’t He use your mouth though? What’s wrong with saying… thank you?

Many times Christians are afraid to associate themselves with the move of God and put all the responsibility on God instead of being a co-laborer together with Him. Yes God healed, but used your hands. Yes God saved but He used your mouth. Yes God worked in a supernatural way but how many times will He do that without working in some way or the other through His Church?

What does the Bible say? If anyone is sick among you let him call on God? THE BIBLE DOES NOT SAY THAT!!! it says let him call the elders; those that have faith in God. This is very significant because God wants to pull our minds out of the gutter of religionism and get a fresh smell of life being lived from the Throne. That’s where we are…seated in Christ co-laboring!!!
