So as I was about to write about what Jesus said to Peter, “blessed art thou Simon Bar-jona” a thought entered in my mind that led me to go and look up what both the names Simon and Bar-Jona mean. Check this out:
Simon- “he has heard”
Bar- “the son of”

“He has heard the son of the dove”
